RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF ROSEDALE

Minutes of the regular Meeting of Council of the Rural Municipality of Rosedale held on the above date in the Municipal Office, Neepawa, with the following members present: Reeve Bill Martin, Councillors Ernie Schure – Ward 1, Robert Scott – Ward 2, Ron Kostenchuk – Ward 4, Michael Porrok – Ward 5, Duane Stewart – Ward 6

Absent: Steve Pegoski – Ward 3

That this regular meeting of Council convene at 10:00 a.m. with Reeve Bill Martin as chairman.

That Be It Resolved that the Council of the R. M. of Rosedale approve the agenda for July 8, 2016.

That the minutes of the regular meeting held June 10, 2016 be adopted as circulated.

That we adopt the June 2016 financial statements.

That the Council approves the accounts for the month and amounts as follows:

That we do now adjourn this regular meeting at 10:15 am to hold a Public Hearing regarding Paul and Helen French Conditional Use Hearing on NW & SW 9-19-15W.

That the Public Hearing be now open at 10:15 am for Paul & Helen French Conditional Use Hearing.

That the Public Hearing be now closed at 11:00 am to reconvene for our regular meeting.

That whereas a hearing was held on Friday, July 8th, 2016 to hear representation for or against the proposed Conditional Use request by Paul and Helen French on NW & SW 9-19-15W;

Whereas there was no representation for or against the proposed Conditional Use request.

Now therefore, the Council of the Rural Municipality of Rosedale approve the Conditional Use request to allow for the location of a Gravel Extraction Operation within the “AG-80” Agricultural General Zone providing the following conditions are met:

  1. a) Gravel pit must be rehabilitated to Provincial Standards
  2. b) The applicant must provide dust control to Councils satisfaction
  3. c) The top of the road rehabilitation shall be maintained at the discretion of Council during time of hauling
  4. d) The application must sign a road haul agreement with the R. M. of Rosedale.

That we the Council of the R. M. of Rosedale agree to cancel the $40 Kelwood Community Charge off NE 9-19-15W – Roll # 0198600.

That we the Council of the R. M. of Rosedale agree to pay the second half of our 2016 Neepawa Veterinary Levy in the amount of $2,080.00.

That we the Council of the R. M. of Rosedale approve the amendment that was made to the Workers Working Alone Regulation Policy on July 8th, 2016.

That we agree to sponsor the Neepawa Natives Hockey Club for their 2016-17 season in the amount of $1000.00 plus GST from VLT funding.

That we the Council of the R. M. of Rosedale agree to purchase 10 – 5/8” SR2 Water meter chambers for the total amount of $434.49 or $38.45 each plus taxes as quoted by Corix Water Products LP.

That we the Council of the R. M. of Rosedale agrees to purchase the Gazebo Pad and 2 concrete bases as quoted by Prairie Mountain Construction for the amount of $5,057.33 and the 20 yards of topsoil as quoted by Rempel Backhoe & Gravel Ltd. for the amount of $361.60.
