Minutes of the Special Meeting of Council of the Rural Municipality of Rosedale held on the above date in the Municipal Office, Neepawa, with the following members present: Reeve Bill Martin, Councillors Ernie Schure – Ward 1, Robert Scott – Ward 2, Steve Pegoski – Ward 3, Ron Kostenchuk – Ward 4, Michael Porrok – Ward 5, Duane Stewart – Ward 6

15/105      Stewart – Scott

That this special meeting of Council convene at 7:30 p.m. with Reeve Bill Martin as chairman.


15/106      Kostenchuk – Scott

That Be It Resolved that the Council of the R. M. of Rosedale adopt the agenda for the Special meeting.


15/107      Scott – Porrok

That we agree to grant Rolling Acres $2,000.00 for the playground equipment for 2015 for their school.

Ward 2 and 5 – $1,000


15/108      Porrok – Schure

That Whereas the Council of the R. M. of Rosedale approve the project to proceed with the construction of a rural pipeline connecting the R. M. of Rosedale to the Town of Neepawa Public Water System;

And Whereas the New Building Canada Fund Program would support up to 1/3 of the project costs, once approved;

Therefore Be It Resolved that the Council of the R. M. of Rosedale apply for assistance through the New Building Canada Fund Program.


15/109      Kostenchuk – Porrok

That By-law 6-2015 being a by-law amending By-law 5-2015 to regulate and control the mining of aggregate in the Rural Municipality of Rosedale and to be known as the “Aggregate Mining and Transportation By-law be read a first time.


15/110      Stewart – Porrok

That we the Council of Rosedale offer Karen $4.00 per hour and 1 dollar per hour until retirement; Colleen $2.00 per hour and for $1.00 per hour until retirement.


Council instructed CAO to contact MIT concerning speed limit signs on PR roads.

That we do now adjourn this special meeting at 10:00 pm to meet again for our regular meeting of Friday, June 12th, 2015.
