Minutes of the regular Meeting of Council of the Rural Municipality of Rosedale held on the above date in the Municipal Office, Neepawa, with the following members present: Reeve Ed Levandoski, Councillors Stacy Ellis, Ward 1, Robert Scott – Ward 2, Steve Pegoski – Ward 3, Ron Kostenchuk – Ward 4, Michael Porrok – Ward 5, Barry Kohinski – Ward 6

That this regular meeting of Council convene at 9:30 a.m. with Reeve Ed Levandoski as chairman.

That the minutes of the regular meeting held May 9, 2014 be adopted as circulated.

That we adopt the May 2014 financial statements.

That the Council approve the accounts for the month and amounts as follows:

That we agree to grant the Glenella Gofers $100.00 for their 2014 Midnight Madness.

That we the Council of the R. M. of Rosedale approve the proposed subdivision by Allan and Janis Dutko on SE 9-16-16 WPM providing the following condition is met.
- That a Conditional Use Order be granted allowing for the rural farm single family dwelling on the “AG-80” Zone.

That we the Council of the RM of Rosedale approve the proposed subdivision by George Friesen on NE 33-17-15 WPM providing the following condition is met:
- That a Conditional Use Order be granted allowing for the rural no-farm single family dwelling within the “Ag-80” Zone.
14/106 Kohinski – Kostenchuk
That we agree to purchase 19,500 yards of gravel from Nelson River Construction for $4.70. (1/2 will be paid in 2014 and ½ in 2015)

That we agree to grant the Town of Neepawa $500 for the 2014 Canada Celebrations.

That we agree to grant the Little Valley Jamboree $200 for their 2014 Jamboree for Special Children.

That we agree to pay our 2014 membership fee in the amount of $200 for the Riding Mountain Biosphere Reserve.

That we the council of the R. M of Rosedale agree to enter into a gravel agreement with Hubertus (Bert) and Maureen Dekoning to purchase gravel from the SE 3-16-15 WPM for the sum of $1.50 per yard for the years 2014 to 2019.

That we agree to grant the Yellowhead Road Runner $250 (Silver Sponsorship) for their 2014 Runway Drag Races.

That we the Council of the R. M. of Rosedale agree to purchase a 1990 GMC Fire Truck from the R. M. of Cartier for the amount of $32,500 plus applicable taxes.
14/113 Kohinski – Kostenchuk
Whereas the Municipality of Rosedale has provided the McCreary District Economic Development Board with funding of $500 for the experiential tourism workshop held on February 24 and 25, 2014 and the Municipality of Rosedale also provides an in kind (for example: meeting space, access to photocopier, consultation, partnering, volunteers, attendance at meetings, etc.) to McCreary District Economic Development Board.
Therefore Be It Resolved that the Municipality of Rosedale does authorize a letter of support in principle to accompany the grant application for the McCreary District Economic Development Board under the Parkland Regional Development Corporation for the Experiential Tourism Follow Up Project.

That we do now adjourn our regular meeting at 11:40 A. M to hold a public hearing regarding Dennis Unger Variation Order Hearing on the SW 10-15-15 WPM.

That the Public Hearing be now open at 11:45 am for Dennis Unger Variation Order Hearing.

That the Public Hearing be now closed at 11:50 am to reconvene for our regular meeting.

That Whereas a hearing was held on June 13, 2014 at 11:45 am to hear representation for or against the proposed Variation Order request by Dennis Unger;
And Whereas there was no representation with concerns with the proposed Variation Order Request;
Now Therefore Be It Resolved that the Council of the R. M. of Rosedale approve the proposed Variation Order request to allow:
- The referred setback of the West property boundary when adjacent to a Municipal road of 125 feet be reduced to 56 feet in the “AG80-L1” Agricultural-Livestock Operation Limited 1 Zone.

That we agree to purchase a 54” 23 HP Kawasaki Cub Cadet Lawn Mower for $3,549.00 plus applicable taxes from Chabot Implements, “3 year bumper to bumper unlimited warranty”
