RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF ROSEDALE

August 14, 2015

Minutes of the regular Meeting of Council of the Rural Municipality of Rosedale held on the above date in the Municipal Office, Neepawa, with the following members present: Reeve Bill Martin, Councillors Ernie Schure – Ward 1, Robert Scott – Ward 2, Steve Pegoski – Ward 3, Ron Kostenchuk – Ward 4, Michael Porrok – Ward 5, Duane Stewart – Ward 6

That this regular meeting of Council convene at 10:00 a.m. with Reeve Bill Martin as chairman.

That Be It Resolved that the Council of the R. M. of Rosedale approve the Agenda for August 14, 2015.

That the minutes of the regular meeting held July 10, 2015 and the special meeting held August 7, 2015 be adopted as circulated.

That we do now adjourn this regular meeting at 10:30 am to hold a public hearing regarding Liana Kaiser on NW 26-15-16W.

That the Public Hearing be now open at 10:30 A. M. for Liana Kaiser Variation Order.

That Whereas a hearing was held on Friday, August 14, 2015 to hear representation for or against the proposed Variation Order application by Liana Kaiser:

Whereas there was no representation for or against the proposed Variation Order application:

Now Therefore the Council of the Rural Municipality of Rosedale agree to the Variation Order to allow:

  1. The required setback for the residential dwelling of the North Property Boundary of 125 feet be reduced to 70 feet, and the required setback of the South Property boundary of 50 feet be reduced to 45 feet.
  2. The required setback of the 4 accessary buildings for the South Property Boundary of 50 feet be reduced to 6 feet within the “AG-80” Agricultural General Zone.

That Be It Resolved that the Council of the R. M. of Rosedale now approve the application for Zoning By-law amendment and request Community and Regional Planning to prepare the necessary By-law, Map and Public Hearing notification to Re-zone Lots 15 and part of Lot 16, Plan 356, Village of Kelwood, from its current “AGR” Agricultural Livestock Restricted Zone to the proposed “GD” General Development Zone being By-law No. 7-2015, and amendment to the R. M. of Rosedale Zoning By-law No. 5-88.

That we the R. M. of Rosedale declare a state of emergency for the rain event that occurred the weekend of July 10, 2015. We ask for disaster financial assistance for repair work.
